KarenSoft, MFEA to promote ERP2 solution StarBiz, Wednesday, July 21, 2004 MESDAQ market-listed KarenSoft Technology Bhd is set to partner the Malaysian Furniture Entrepreneur Association (MFEA) to promote the KarenSoft ERP2 (Extended Enterprise Resources Planning) solution to the association's more than 2,000 members. The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding to that effect in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, a statement from KarenSoft said. KarenSoft aimed to get around 10% or about 200 MFEA members to become customers for the ERP2 solutions in the next three to five years, executive chairman and chief executive officer Chee Chong Hwa said in the statement. The solutions are priced between RM150,000 and RM250,000. “This timely collaboration between MFEA and KarenSoft to promote the ERP2 to MFEA members will bring tremendous benefits by encouraging more furniture manufacturers to adopt technology in their customer relationship management, supply chain management, financial and human resources management processes and thus increase their global competitiveness,” Chee said. – Bernama
