KarenSoft soft-launches KarenSoft ExecSuite, the ONE software you'll ever need
Penang, 26th November 2004 --- MESDAQ Market-listed KarenSoft Technology Berhad (KarenSoft) has introduced its latest "Killer Application", KarenSoft ExecSuite in a
preview session to 35 software resellers here today, of which 24 of them have signed on as dealers. This is the second road show previewing KarenSoft ExecSuite to
dealers since this product has been developed, said KarenSoft Executive Chairman/CEO, Mr Chee Chong Hwa.
According to Chee, this is the first of its kind product to be developed by KarenSoft that is targeted at everyone so much so that it falls under the category of fast moving
consumer goods with an anticipated market size of RM402.88 million.
KarenSoft ExecSuite has been developed over the last 7 years and descended from KarenSoft ExecSuite 2000, a finalist in 1999 PIKOM Computimes IT Product of the
year. KarenSoft ExecSuite is a collection of powerful desktop applications for the business and home users. It offers a cost-effective suite of desktop productivity
applications range from time and personal organiser, administrative, HRM, CRM tools, spreadsheet, word processor, email and Internet functionalities and much more.
The ExecSuite is designed specifically to help increase user productivity and meet the needs of both enterprise and individual users. It also permits seamless document
exchange to and from other common business applications (such as Microsoft Office).
Chee said, currently it comes with three editions, namely Lite, Standard and Enterprise.
The Lite edition is targetted at the more than 375,00 new PCs per annum whilst the Standard Edition is aimed at the estimated of more than 1.9 Million PCs sold since 1997.
The Enterprise Edition is designed as a micro-mini ERP solution for more than 41,000 SMIDEC registered SMI/SME who needs a formal ERP solution but does not simply
have the budget for a traditional ERP solution.
Chee added that a Profesional Edition targetted at Accountants, Lawyers, Insurance Agents and Remisiers are currently under development.
