KarenSoft ERP2 Enters the Thailand Market
Kuala Lumpur - 2 September 2004 - Mesdaq-listed company KarenSoft Technology Berhad and SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd., a Thailand consultancy company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to market KarenSoft ERP2 system in Thailand. KarenSoft was represented by its Executive Chairman / Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chee Chong Hwa while SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd. Executive Director, Ms. Sirintip Sanguanklin signed on behalf of the company.
The MOU is to formalize the joining of forces for the marketing of KarenSoft ERP2 product to the Thailand market as well as promoting training program on KarenSoft ERP2 system.
Chee said, "This collaboration between KarenSoft and SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd. will bring tremendous benefits in our joint effort to promote application technologies particularly to the more than 2,500 local manufacturing enterprises in the Thailand." He added that the signing of the MOU was timely as Thailand is part of KarenSoft's overseas expansion plans.
Mr. Leong Kin Mun, Director of SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd. said "SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd. is targeting RM2.5 million sales over the next twelve months from the estimated 2,500 local manufacturing enterprises with a staff force of over 100 employees. This means that there is a ready market of approximately RM 375 Million for the KarenSoft ERP2 system in Thailand."
As part of the collaboration, SI Management Consultants Co., Ltd. will host a seminar to launch KarenSoft ERP2 system in Bangkok, Thailand on 7th September 2004 to its prospective customers.
