Visit by Deputy Minister, IT & Planning, Islamic Republic of Iran KarenSoft Technology Berhad hosted a visit on March 30, 2004 to the Honorable Mr. B. Ghanbari, Deputy Minister of IT & Planning in the Ministry of Communication and IT of the Islamic Republic of Iran at its headquarters in Prai. During the visit, Mr. Ghanbari invited KarenSoft to explore the Iranian enterprise software market, especially in the telecommunications and petrochemicals sector in Iran. He was given a presentation about the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) industry as well as KarenSoft's corporate and technology profile. Also at the meeting was KarenSoft's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chee Chong Hwa, who held discussions with Mr. Ghanbari on how ERP systems can raise the productivity of Iranian manufacturers. Mr. Chee said the visit was timely as the company is looking into the Middle East market for its overseas expansion plans.
