KarenSoft Records 5th Consecutive Profitable Quarter
Georgetown, Penang - 30 August 2003 - KarenSoft Technology Berhad today announced its fifth consecutive profitable quarter with revenue and profit before taxation at RM1.873 Million and RM426,000 respectively for the quarter under review. KarenSoft is a listed company on the Mesdaq Market of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
For the quarter under review, KarenSoft recorded an increase in profits before taxation of RM426,000 compared to RM84,000 in the previous quarter.
Says KarenSoft Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chee Chong Hwa, this increase in profitability was mainly due to an increase in ERP2 contracts secured from mid-sized companies as well as top tier SMIs attracted to KarenSoft's comprehensive offering of enterprise solutions for multiple industries.

At the same time, KarenSoft's revenue for the half year ended 30 June 2003 had increased 46.77% to RM3.019 Million from RM2.057 Million for the same period previously.
This, says Chee, is a result of growing acceptance of the KarenSoft ERP2 as a branded Malaysian ERP2 solution through its concerted and active marketing efforts made post-listing.
