KarenSoft Clients to Benefit Through
New Business Consulting Division
Georgetown, PENANG - 27 November 2003
- KarenSoft Technology Berhad, a leading
homegrown ERP2 (Extended Enterprise Resources
Planning) provider, expects its newly
set up Business Consulting Group to add
more value to its comprehensive list of
solutions and services by helping customer
organisations attain higher levels of
productivity through total
enterprise integration.
"Our customers have always requested
that we provide them with executable and
pragmatic strategic plans through consulting
services besides our complete range of
enterprise solutions," said KarenSoft
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr Chee
Chong
Hwa.
The new division, based in Penang, sets
KarenSoft apart as the first local solutions
provider to have its own business consulting
division in addition to having its own
training institute.
This consulting division is a result of
increasing demand from KarenSoft customers,
urging KarenSoft to take a strategic focus
to ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning)
implementation instead of a strictly technical
one. In other words, KarenSoft is moving
beyond installing software to participating
in value creation.
Chee said that KarenSoft Business Consulting
is expected to contribute actionable insights
that can make KarenSoft more competitive
right from proposal development.
"By giving our customers more in
terms of consultancy services, KarenSoft
is reaffirming its commitment to quality,
customer satisfaction and shareholder
value," Chee added. He noted that
KarenSoft Business Consulting is expected
to contribute positively towards the group's
overall revenue.

15 years in improving the manufacturing
supply chain, KarenSoft Business Consulting
is dedicated to helping customers do the

productively. Another charter of this
division is to ensure that KarenSoft's
