KarenSoft Shortlisted for SMI Recognition Awards 2003 KarenSoft Technology Berhad (KarenSoft) is pleased to be shortlisted for the upcoming prestigious SMI Recognition Awards 2003 jointly organised by SMI Malaysia and Sin Chew Daily. KarenSoft will be competing with other shortlisted nominees under the SMI Achievers Awards category. Being nominated for the SMI Achievers Award is a recognition in itself for KarenSoft as this means KarenSoft's achievements and contributions throughout its 12-year history are valued and appreciated. The SMI Achievers Awards, as among the seven different categories under the SMI Awards, are for public-listed companies on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Second Board or Mesdaq Market which are financial performers. These companies are selected based on their exemplary entrepreneurship, besides being shining examples of perseverance and hard work. Unlike the other categories of SMI Awards which require nomination, companies vying for this award are specially invited to participate. The SMI Awards will be presented to the winning companies during a grand dinner-cum-presentation ceremony at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, Petaling Jaya in mid-October. It is co-organised by Astro and National SMI Consultative Centre, with Digi, DHL and Maybank as sponsors while Horwath acts as their independent auditor.
