AMI-KarenSoft ERP2 Certification Programme
KarenSoft Technology Berhad's collaboration with MIGHT-METEOR Advance Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (MMAM) is set to commence in January 2004 with the AMI-KarenSoft Extended Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP2) Certification Programme structured for ERP professionals.
After the signing of a memorandum
of understanding between KarenSoft
and MIGHT-METEOR
on 12 December 2003 at Putrajaya, (represented by Mr Chee Chong Hwa and Y. Bhg Tan Sri Datuk Dr Ahmad Zaharudin Idrus respectively) with the aim of collaboration between both parties, KarenSoft held a special executive briefing for invited KarenSoft and MMAM guests detailing the certification programme. This programme is specially developed to promote and train Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) involved in advance manufacturing.
The programme (divided into three levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced) is targeted at IT graduates, production personnel, ERP administrators, product designers, project management teams, inventors and vendor programme members who wish to understand how large-scale enterprise systems such as ERP systems are developed. Its focus is on real-life experience implementation and practical knowledge of ERP systems.
KarenSoft is providing its expertise in addition to supplying software and hardware to the dedicated AMI-KarenSoft Lab located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor for the purpose of this certification programme. [AMI or Advanced Manufacturing Institute is a knowledge centre under MMAM which develops human resources via training and educational programmes in advance manufacturing.]
